Is there a way to align/ rotate textures after a block has been placed?

Even if i change the texture mode to local before placing the block - the texture will then be straight, but not seamless anymore.

Tht probably happens because i am building a bit rotated. But that should not happen?

Also, textures on modified shapes (size) are different in size than the rest.
