This would indeed be helpful These vertical holes are tricky for me. I manage to build from the bottom of a hole to the top using ladders and beams, but have difficulties building something which is safe from above to the bottom. My legs (broken-healing-broken) know that I failed to use correctly long ladders from above ouch! But ... would I be able to use a rope correctly when I can't use a ladder correctly???

Of course I can use the F2 key, but in real survival mode I won't have this key. This is the reason why I tested it already ... ouch.
