The next update will be available on Wednesday, December 18, in the early evening (GMT+1).
This update will not yet replace the Java version, instead it is the actual content update. We'll provide more information about the transition together with the update.

Can't get the client to start at all in Linux Mint 17.3 with this latest update. I could with previous updates. I am running
all requirements, at or exceeding maximum. Using the steam version. Removed game files, re-downloaded them. Checked
Java version, it is 8. Not sure what to check next.
This sucks, all I am getting is the starting window and then the first logo flash and the game crashes. Nobody can help me?
<edit>
Ok, I should of searched first. I found that Red is working on the issue. Thank You

Chickens that can walk through walls, ceilings and floors. Can be a bit annoying. I find them in rooms that
they shouldn't be. But, I still love the game. THANKS

How do you harvest plants so you can re-plant them. I used to use the sickle to do
this, now it doesn't work.
I have found Potatoes and Carrots and apples.

With the new update, one of the lights that you can place on the wall/floor/ceiling you can only now place on the floor, it no longer flips to be placed on the wall. It is the white square light.

I am also getting a permission denied when trying to start the server with
the sh script. But, using the java start works as a work around.
Forget that, forgot to change the file to executable. My bad.

Database won't convert to the new format, I get a bunch of errors and the sever won't start. Linux server fully updated. I will
attach the latest server log. I have stuck with the sqllite database, there is only 2 of us playing on my private server.
Thanks for the help.

Thanks, I always forget about the link on the main page.

Ok, great update, but where are the new server files? They must be available, I see one server with the
new update is available. THX

I was just searching for this error message. So, I'm not the only one. Only 3 users online on
a 4 user server.

Error: The file .jar does not exist!
this error is all I get. Tried Firefox and Chrome

Keeps popping up saying Client Error java.net.socketexception:Connection reset
My buddy keeps complaining about this error. He is playing on a Windows 7 box.
I'm running the server on an Xubuntu box, that is dedicated.
Funny thing is, I can connect and play for hours without a problem. But I am using Linux Mint 17 box.
Update:
We have come to the conclusion that it is the client, not the server. He has connected to many of the servers out there
and it does the same thing. Windows 7 64 bit using Steam to install the game. .
-
Well, he did that, no help.
-
Yup, and I mentioned that in a text to him today. We'll see if that helps.

I noticed when I was reading the server setup guide that you're supposed to reboot the server least once a day. I was curious why and is there any way to prevent inventory for being dumped every time you restart the server.
