Is there a way to remove water once you've placed it? I accidentally made the water level too high filling something in. Or will placing lower level water over it change the height of previously placed water?

didn't it say between 6-9? be patient, it'll be here soon. no need to be disappointed.

Hop in a barrel eh? Now i have to create Niagara Falls.

Forgot to post my finished castle!

I used something with a relatively lowish resolution earlier today (675x450) and even stretched as far as it would go it didn't look pixelated or anything. Haven't tried anything lower than that though.

Day 35: Still no water, my friends and i are slowly dying off. Dehydration set in last week, are we're all withering away to nothing. We pray that our merciful god, red51, will soon bless us with the water that we so desperately need.

Just started on this castle build today. Haven't gotten too far and figuring out the interior is going to take ages but, its my first big build yet.

You guys and all your great ideas for water. Everytime i check the forums i get more excited for the update. Damn you all!

In other words build a faster computer so that the world finishes generating quicker than the time it takes to die. ;-p
Definitely some good motivation to buy a better pc haha. Honestly i'm surprised I can play Rising World as well as i can on my admittedly subpar PC. Optimization is great

Fell into lava in hell, and when i respawned at my bed, it continued to give me the red screen and damage from being in lava. Resulting in continuous unavoidable deaths directly after respawn, the only way to fix was to exit the world and reload.

Has it been mentioned at all if we'll be taking fall damage when falling into water?
-
Well putting it like that, it makes more sense than what I was suggesting. Thanks for the insight, Yak. We'll still have a lot to do even with static water. Can't wait!

So I know that the first water update will be static, but when we do finally get dynamic, will it be infinite? Or will water drain out of wherever its at and dry up completely? The option for both in creative mode would be wonderful. Mostly for making waterfalls and such. But a seperate "block" for infinite water and water that drains would be amazing.

I haven't messed with it at all, but if you drop an item on the ground, say a knife, will it despawn after a certain amount of time or moving so far away? Or will it stay there? I ask because i was going to have a friend try a map I made and thought if i left some items around for him to find by chance, that it would be cool.

Just wondering if this is a thing yet or not? I've tried pressing everything i could think of but it only seems to change the height that the half slab sits. I ask because i was hoping to use half slabs vertically as walls in a modern house build, seems to make more sense as a width than the full block as a wall.

Good question. I'm not 100% positive but usually in games like this there are console commands to set world spawn? I could be incorrect.

I know blueprints can export huge builds but do they also work on terrain? Was wondering if thats possible, and if not, if its possible to export an entire world so that someone else can check out what you've built. Singleplayer only obviously.

I notice that by default doors appear with the knob on the left side and they open away from you. Is there any way to reverse/mirror this so that the door opens away from you still but with the knob on the right instead of left? This question also applies to bannisters that attach to walls. I've looked around a bit and can't figure out if its in the game or not. Thanks ahead of time for any answers!
