You can add the launch option (rightclick on RW in Steam -> properties -> Set Launch Options) "+connect=ip:port" (without quot. marks), that should work
I wanted to put this link "steam://connect/" at my site and when user will activate it, he will connect to my server like in CS GO.

Can you add the ability to connect to servers by dint of steam://connect/server_ip ?
