just in case any encounters a similar problem. I finally found out, that those lags will only occur while in windows mode. If I switch to full screen mode there a no lags at all.

well today the lags are back again. It is a pitty, maybe a new laptop will help me. Damned driver cannot be updated as well. ok thanks for your help anyway.
well first of all thanks a lot, the lags are gone for now. Although it did not show the effect at once. But I could play without lags today. You are right I encounter crashes quite often, but if I try to update the graphics driver it keeps constantly telling me it is up to date already.
I am using the Steam version. Here is the report

Hello,
could not find any topic covering my problem, therefore I open up this threat. I am fairly new, started playing at the beginning of Februar.
After the last update 0.6.5 I encounter lags while playing which I did not have before. While I walk or do anything the screen freezes for seconds before going on. I thougt it might be related to the specific world, but a new one does not solve the problem. It is a bit anoying, so does any one know what do?
