Rising World runs faster in window mode.
@WalterDasTrevas Thank you. I was hitting ESC and the Windows key just to get out of the game to go to a different window.

This is the first time I've seen this post, as I'm venturing into this forum more and more.
Not sure how I can help as you didn't provide any information on your computer nor which version of OBS you're using, including which Open GL version you're using. And I don't know if you're just recording or streaming.
So, I'll give you my computer specifications and what settings I use in OBS, and settings within RW. I did a lot of testing to get to my settings, and it was not easy getting to the point where I'm happy with the product.
My videos are at 1080p 60fps on YouTube. I do have a link in the "Media and Presentation" section of this forum if you care to see what my quality is like. The F3 key is activated in most of the video.
All of my videos are edited with Shotcut.
My computer specifications:
Intel i7-7700k, 32gb Memory, Win10 Home [build 16299, rev 192 KB4056892], Z270, GTX 1070 8gb, Water cooled CPU. (All case fans set to highest settings, and GPU fans set to medium settings)
I record to an independent SSD. The GPU does heat up to around 34c - 40c. And when I'm down in Hell (Rising World destination), it does push the 50c mark.

OBS is set to run as Administrator (By default it's not set to run as Administrator)
Disabled XBox Game DVR by altering Windows registry with aid from guides found on Google.
Disabled GeForce Experience.
I do not run any Anti-Virus of any kind.
For some reason I couldn't use the indent features.
Awesome work!
Tolle Arbeit!
(Google translated to German)
This is my first time playing this game. And this the file I most played in and finally made it to hell. A bit of a tour.
I haven't actually finished building anything yet, and you can see my skills at stair making, ha ha.
I love the journey of finding all of these cave systems then going through various dungeons. Makes me want to just keep mining to find new items.
Is there children screaming? It sounds like it.
And look at the Global reading, the -797 and -169 are flipped.
This button needs to be moved away from the Load World button.
Could be 1/3 the size, moved to the top of the screen, way out of the way of the Load World button.
Then add confirm screen when deleting a world.
Perhaps a bug.
When going to craft, you go to select Block Table, and it needs x amount of lumber, I think 48.
I go to craft the X amount of lumber.
I go back to the Work Bench to craft the Block Table.. it doesn't remember that I was just there.
Do you know how many work benches I have? lol
Appears other items you look at to craft, then make the materials for, when you go back, it remembers the last thing you selected.
Not a big deal for me, I have plenty of materials, just gets funny when I do it twice in a row . Not sure if others have had this same thing happen to them.
Ok, I'm a Rising World miner, local 555.
As I'm on my journey to reach hell, I seem to find myself more and more running into caves that just make my job easier, then more dungeons, which it seems after I've seen 4 to 5 they all seem the same with about the same weapons, armor, loot, etc. I thought it would be a bit more hard to reach hell. Did I just pick the right areas to dig? I'm not quite sure how I would have found any of these dungeons any other way. I had no idea dungeons would be down at -628.
I intend on making videos of Rising World, but my addiction to mine has taken over.
And down this low, Mithril and Sulfur is just everywhere. I think I left this deposit there, ha ha. Already got a full stack earlier.
I know I'm new here, and but I'm also host a new youtube channel. I record with OBS Studios. It's free and there is a lot of great tutorials out there on how to use it. OBS is complete open source, and is used for both streaming and recording. It's free, and works with all operating systems, including Mac. On YouTube, look for "EposVox", most of his channel is dedicated towards teaching all about OBS. When watching EposVox, skip to the 1 minute mark to past his advertisements. It either can be very advanced or very simple, depending on how much you want to learn. When you first open up OBS, you might think that it doesn't look right. There is no fancy buttons. Just a fully functional recording/streaming software. You're able to stream and record at the same time. If you have ever watched a live stream and you see people typing in text on their screen, or "YouTube User has Subscribed" come up with a graphic or a short video clip, that is all possible with OBS, and most streamers use OBS. That's how they get their webcam on screen to showing tip jars. Sorry to carry on, but it's the best free software that I've found in a very long time.
I do record with OBS, but then I edit everything with Shotcut. Both are free, open source, and cross platform. Unfortunately there is very little video tutorials on Shotcut. Shotcut has their own youtube channel, but the videos are severely outdated to the current release, but the major functions are all still the same.
Thank you. This will be great as I plan on digging more tunnels. I ended up using the fly command to physically see where I was at. I ended up being just a few pickaxe swings away from where I wanted to tunnel through at.
Is there a way to find out your current x,y location with the console?
I'm trying to dig a tunnel to an existing cave. I know I'm close.
Oddly enough, the map is way off when underground for some reason.
Thanks.
