    Thats great thank you very much for this. WIth the spawn command i take it that can only be used if enter a players name ? For example if someone new joins in i would have to wait to see what the username is then run the spawn command? Or can i do it by groups? Setup a new user group for example through the permissions then run the spawn command setspawn "Group" for example? Thanks again for the information.

    Hi guys


    We have a hosted server we are playing on that we want to make public to allow others to join in and allow to create and play in our exsisiting world.


    Things that i would like to know before i do this.


    I would like to setup a position where new people joining would spawn by default where i can setup a billboard with server rules etc.


    I would also like to assign different roles to new people joining.


    Is this possible? And if so how can i set that up in my server or in game settings?


    We want to open it to everyone but would like to have some ground rules/settings in place where new people could freely explore exsisting towns and buildings but arent able to destroy or modify what has allready been constructed.


    So if a new player joins the server we would like it to be setup in such a way that they spawn in at a set location (current town and country boundaries) That would have billboards placed with server rules etc. Then everything else outside of those boundaries is free for building.

    Hey everyone we are now on our second server hosting site and while the game runs much smoother and better on this host the customer service and support is terrible. So i am look for any suggestions or recommendations for a good rising server host where we can take our world and play on. Without breaking the bank.

    RW uses a lot of CPU as opposed to GPU. Do you have lag playing on SP or on a public multiplayer server? Might be worth testing out imo to rule out it being a problem with the host. I've had numerous website hosts over the years, some have been great some have been abysmal (I know it's different but it's also the same ;) )

    No we dont have the issue on sp and sp with friends

    It is the steam version of the game . I cant see it being my system as i am running dual gtx 1080's for video and 32gb of system memory with a I7 7700 4.5 gb processor. I have tried lowering the graphic settings and it does seem to help a little bit but not much. And i refuse to lower my settings when i can play anything else on the market on ultra . This game cant be more graphic intense than say farcry5 or something like that. Could running it in 5760x1080 be a part of the issue? That would suck why have three monitors if the game cant keep up with it since it offers that resolution in the settings. The server is a 12 man ( only 2 of us in there together at the same time) i rent from GTXgaming running on a solid state drive 3.2 ghz processor it what it says and its mysql

    Lag as in the game freezes up for me at times its totally random. Then i will go to the edge of what is loaded map wise and sit there looking into a white background and floor with nothing loading for a few min then the next section of area loads up. Sometimes there is pieces of buildings missing or i can see through them
    It all fixes itself when i quit to the main menu and log in again . But then starts again at random times 10 min 15 min sometimes 20 min or even half hour its all over the place.So yes major desync issues i suppose It is our own server that i rent from gtxservers.

    So we have been playing on a dedicated server for a while now. Every 20 min or so we keep getting some major lag in the game . We do have quit alot of buildings in or town however it seems fine for a little while then ends up being very laggy or showing parts missing on the map and parts of the buildings. We have done the + memory line to the launch options in steam but that still seems to not help much.Is it a common thing for the game to lag out that much when you have an area with alot of buildings or blueprints? Is there any other fix that could help with this. Its very annoying having to quit out of the game and relaunch every 20 min .

    They are in the edge of the savannahs before you get to the green cow land along the mountains. Tigers sometimes are nearby. It also has to be an area that has never been explored before. If you have explored it they will not show up there.

    After flying around for a while i finally found one and rode him home lol.Thanks for the tip. Any idea why the donkey sounds like a roaring dragon ?

    That is the latest error log. It happens on a singleplayer ( play with friends ) game and also on multiplayer on dedicated server. It starts off by running ok with a little lag then gets worse the longer your in the game. Starts with small hang ups that last longer and longer it wont render the game properly so you see black and white glitches see through walls floors buildings disapear and such. Have to restart about every 20 to 40 min roughly. Then its ok again for a while and then starts all over again.

    So for the last day or two i am having issue with sever gamelag i cant get better than 22 fps my friends and i are all invisible to each other and the game crashes with the following error:

    This happens on a join with friends game and the dedicated server . I appreciate any help thank you

    We are experiencing the same issue. It started first with just me no being to see my friend but he could see me , now we cant see each other at all .

    Hello there . I have a game world with alot of time and hours invested in it with my friends. We are thinking about getting a server so we can all have access to it and i dont always need to have my game up and running 24/7 for people to join in. My question is if we setup a server or rent one can we do that with a exsisting game world or does it have to start off with a blank new world? And if we are able to do that how do we go about doing so? Appreciate any info thank you.
