    Batch files for your Windows OS, Rising World Dedicated Server.
    Version 1.1 Released August 8th 2018 at 2:40pm




    What this includes:
    1. Automatic Database Backups. (rwds_mysql_backup.bat)
    2. Automatic Logs Rotation. (rwds_logs_rotater.bat)
    3. Server Crash Monitor. (rwds_monitor.bat)
    4. 7zip archiving (rwds_mysql_archiver.bat & rwds_logs_archiver.bat)


    What this doesn't include:
    A schedule for shutting down the server. (coming soon)


    The way this works is the crash monitor watches for the server to close for any reason and when it does automatically restarts the server.
    As the server gets restarted the logs are rotated into storage for if needed for debugging.
    The database backups file can be scheduled using Windows Task Scheduler.
    The Archivers require 7zip (console version) to work and can also be scheduled with Task Scheduler.

    Greetings to the Rising World community. This will be my first (non-support-related) post, so just want to say Hi and respect to the devs, team, mods, and community.


    That being said, I'm interested to know more about the water physics plan.


    And to read that a world reset could be required, and that it's "not coming yet". Is this because it will be grouped with other updates that would also require a world reset? If so, totally understandable.


    Or perhaps a delay to explore making a world reset not-required would be also understandable. Maybe some other reason... can you elaborate on this please?
