I like the idea what you have done with the large chest, to add more space with the numbers on the bottom why not increase that to 10 you should also be able to pick up the chest with items in it and still get access to it if you need to.

You should add more space to your inventory with the numbers plus why not increase the stacking from 64 to 500 to 1,000 that would make more sense when collecting more resources.
