I got the same issue very recently, and this indeed happens if you play offline. Hopefully your blueprints (and world liek what happend to me) are still in the game files, if so, it may help to go online again, and play the game, if that doesn't work, just drag the blueprints out of the blueprint folder, start the game, quit, and drag them in again will fix it maybe... (if your files are still in the game). But, always turn off steam cloud on this game , even if you play always online, it is just way more safe to keep the files in your computer...

I bough RW on another account, because as I said before, my main one was captured, but all the worlds don't show up (while all of them are still in the game folders) and when I imported another backup of a world, the world was empty and the bug that appeard with bluescreen came back (so the colors being very grey/bright again) Now I am doing steam's fiel checking thing, but that won't help I think. Anyway to restore the originail game again?

(edit: color bug is gone, but my worls are still gone and game is lagging out while it did not do that before)

About the blue screen, I have not tried it out yet (I am in the train right now😉) but I am pretty sure it is a bug with the game light, because if you walk really close to blocks, you can still kinda see the block but really dark. The other reason I think it is something with the lighting, is because the colors are also messed up when I use no upscale, everything looks more Grey and brighter, like I am using different shaders lol. And the other thing is that the blue fog/world only appears when I use the recommended upscale, while with the other upscalers Or with none, the background in the pause menu becomes blue, and when you are just in the world, there is no blue anymore, but the lighting is messed up like I said... But as soon as I am home, I will try out if it is gone😉

I have seen a lot of permissions you can edit in the game, like player being able to use commands etc. However, ingame, you can see the current setup, but you can't change them on there (as far as I know)

I do know that you can edit them somewhere else than ingame, but I have absolutely no idea how.

I also found out that with my newest upscaler, the world lightning becomes blue, but pause menu looks normal, wile with other upscalers or none, the background in the pause menu becomes blue but the world is not blue naymore, clolors ae still mesed up, maybe this is because I play on a lowe resolution? (600x900)

Ah, foudn the issue, the super sampling made everything blue.

Edit: it was not really fixed, it still appears in the main menu, and fo some reason, everything looks more grey, less colorfull, like the grass is almost grey and the ladders look like birch wood color what is happening

what is happenng here, when I go to escape menu it is gone, but this also happens in the mai menu lol. I tried to verify the files from steam but that did not help

I am lucky, the worlds recoverd when I did g online again, but another huge bug appeard and now the worlds is blue. Just blue. hen I open the pause menu I can see the world again, but when I play normally its just insane dense blue fog.

So the world files are completely erased? That's kinda sad, luckly my recent world was pretty new, so I did not lost a lot

Okay, for some reason, all my worlds are not showin gup in the main menu anymore. Also all the settings are reset. Looks like the game did a factory reset or something Sadly I forgot to make a backup from my new world, and most worlds do have a backup but really old (from 0.8.5) This happend after I started the game offline, steam did a warning that it can't verify the cloud, but that has never been a problem, I played rw a lot offline. Is there anyway to restore my worlds?

I reinstalledmy grapic drivers, it is less common now, but still the lag appears. I also think drivers are the problem, atleast not my hardware. I will buy a bran new pc very soon anyway, so I think I have to reinstall windows anyway before I sell it.

I think thats a bug and I also think that the update is coming really soon if you see the roadmap so then it will be fixed I think.

and I miss the battleaxes so much, but it is already "confirmed"that we will get this in some future update

This issue happens in two cases:
You use a piece of hardware that worked before with an older version of windows or at least older driver(s). When placed in a new computer a conflict can occur; the new computer doesn't recognise the added hardware. I think in fact the file check didn't find "corrupted files", it may be just files to old for the windowsversion you use today. And recovering is mostly an other word for deleting in that case. You have to register the use of Windows for legal reasons. The registrationprocess takes in account what hardware you have. Thats why, if you change several pieces, they recommend to repeat the registrationprocess. It makes sure no 2 copies of the same Windowslicense are used.

Updating the drivers ? Standardanswer. Another one you hear alot: re-install windows

I kind of fixed it it wasn't really a problem of rw, more a problem from my pc. There were some issues with the other SSD so now I disabled it and now I have normal fps again.
