    HAHA

Okay I admit that upon seeing the title of the thread, I clicked on it expecting to see a fab creation of a Hippy bus & a link to it in the Blueprints forum.

Bummer man. Guess I have to build my own.

If I ever get around to it.

What the heck? Get down here you stupid thing. You are a Ram not a cockerel. How on earth did you get up there anyway?

Is there any wonder that farmers say sheep are the dumbest animals.

No. I want to know how far from their spawn point will they wander. Is it a set limit.

Think of cows on a real farm. They can only wander within the fenced off pasture and no further. When they reach the fence they turn around and stay within the boundaries. (Their radius from centre field.)

In which case we cannot move them to another field further away.

I know that in a future update we will be able to lure them away but I figured it may be fun to work with what we have and herd them onto my farm which is a fair distance away.

Do animals have a set radius from their spawn point, or can they be herded an indefinite distance using fences to steer and block their retreat? Namely cows pigs goats and sheep.

Ravenwood Normally, I have at least a vague idea when someone is angry with me. But in this case, I have no idea why you're angry with me now.

haha I'm not angry with you. It was aimed at Unicorns. I probably should have quoted. I will post the seed when I log into the game this evening

I read that the chance of unicorns appearing is 1 percent. So if you have an area with a lot of horses, you have to kill them all. When new horses appear, kill them again. And when you've killed enough horses, you get the unicorn...👀😅

I have never killed a horse but thanks for the info because now I won't yell at a horse lol

They are random “Easter egg” spawns. I am aware there are quite a few of them. The ones I’ve found are: top hat goat, sunglasses pig, carrot on a stick pig, crown fox, tie dye cow and purple cow.there may be more that I’m missing.

Fab. I will keep an eye out for them

There I was enjoying a lovely walk through my world. The scenic beauty unfolding before me everywhere I looked. I headed down the valley which opened out into a gorgeous meadow. Wonderful.

As I approached the tree line I stopped dead

    No.

Nah nah nah nah nah it isn't

NO way. You are not there. You did NOT appear on this gorgeous seed which took me hours and hours to find. start - delete - restart - delete...

You did not just ruin my mood. Ruin my day. Ruin my darn perfect seed.

My whole world just fell apart. I was seething with anger and hatred as I closed my eyes for a few seconds and reopened them hoping that it was a dream. But when I opened them...it was still there. Not walking away. Not running and hiding but it had the gall to just stand there staring at me.

    UNICOOOOORN

What the heck. You nasty, evil little *******

Where or when my absolute hatred of unicorns came from I have no idea. Maybe it is a repressed childhood memory. Maybe it was because I refused to buy my daughter My Little Pony.

    Yeah I hate those too.

This thing was on my seed and I had to get rid of it. But how?

If I kill it, it will respawn.

I could build on the land but then I would destroy the beautiful meadow.

I could tag the map and never return here but then I don't get to enjoy the meadow.

Hold on a minute. Unicorns are supposed to be as rare as rocking horse poo. Maybe no more will spawn. If that is the case, maybe I will get some cool loot for killing it.

Out came the evil side of Gemini Ravenwood.

I opened my inventory and picked up my gun. Thought about it and put the gun back.

That Unicorn has to die painfully. Really painfully.

I picked up my spear muwahahaha

I am going to kill it very slowly. Poke it to death one poke at a time. I am going to poke it, follow it, poke it, follow it, until it falls to the ground screaming and apologising for daring to set foot, feet, hoofs, on my land. Then I am going to poke it some more.

If another one spawns I will build a corral and capture a lot of them. When the corral is full I will throw sticks of dynamite amongst them and have an explosion in a paint factory.

I killed it. I got absolutely nothing. No loot, no screaming, nothing. It was very disappointing.

I resigned myself to the fact that another blooming Unicorn will appear at some point in the future.

The upside is that when I am in a bad mood or just downright angry about something, or want to have a break from building, I can always go unicorn hunting.

Maybe I will wander out of my meadow and then I can dig a cave, lure it in and then run out and full in the hole. Or have it follow me to hell and watch it boil to death.

Maybe I will get some rare loot in a future update.

Whatever happens in the future it certainly adds an unexpected extra dimension to my gameplay.

    I hate Unicorns

Very beautiful, kind of timeless, i like to use it, with thanks for your work :) But where do we find the ivy ?

Hi Elfradhr, really sorry for my late response.

You need to go into creative mode. I don't know how familiar you are with building so please forgive me if I teach you to suck eggs

Open the console by pressing the Tilda key

Type gm 1 to enter creative mode

Press F6 and you will see a menu top right which shows all the plants currently in the game.

Scroll through with the mouse wheel until you get to Ivy. There are 3 different ones.

Now rotate, resize as you wish and left click to place

When you have finished press F4 to exit that menu

Once you have finished in creative mode, press the Tilda key again and type gm 0 to get back into survival mode
