I think all light sources could have this option in the end. Campfires are too bright for me as example. If I make them less bright - that makes rest of the world look too dark. Candles could light more area and such.

If you are standing near a trash can, the icon appears in your inventory, and you can drag items into it to discard them.
Thanks! You are best eye doc!
Then this topic is no longer needed

Hi.
While playing in survival I often was bothered with item deletion. I know that trashbins delete items, but throwing items in 1x1 sized hole is a bit problematic to the point, that I resorted to simply destroying excess items by throwing them on ground and hitting them with pickaxe/axe.
Can trashbins be remade to work like containers for easy item placement maybe? And after bin is closed - to delete what was put inside? Or maybe make trashbin for survival too in invetory, the same way as in creative? -
Beautiful work. I will find use for these in my house decorations.

100% download for me. Amazing work! Love the alchemy shop!

Amazing work. I think I will download it for myself. Looks old style which I love and with lots of details. 11/10

I use mix of terraforming tools and hand tools. Sometimes its better to strike stone with sledgehammer, than trying to smooth it with brush.
It does take time and demands patience, if you want to create naturally looking landscapes. Often when ground looks too unnatural - few placed stones can fix it (the ones that generate naturally on map, not crafted). Just resize these stones, experiment.
I also suspect, that terrain editing is still not finished completely. Good example of it is 1x1 brush, which sometimes just refuses to work. Sometimes when I try to use it from other side of that spot - it magically starts working. So try to circle around spot a bit when you use small brush. -
Will spoil your awesome shots with some of my spooky ones. Building graveyard keeper house...With a little secret. These new dummy animations and item placements are very useful.
Enjoy the bird

And changing their size is fun.I believe its enough testing for today for me...Time to actually play the game with these new functions. Now where do I find a pig

Until a chicken comes by ?
No, seriously i think i did read somewhere that animals can't be used for item placement. And i guess the earthworm is an animal ?I just placed some. Here they are wiggly wiggling.
-
So if I use item placement and place earthworm on table. It will stay there wiggling and never despawn?

These updates get better and better.Congrats players and devs with new update! And timing is perfect to try it out this weekend.

Hi. Finally got more time to play. Just wanted to report bug. Dont know what causes it, but my compass spawn point arrow is flickering and disappearing when I walk or turn.
-
For now it smells like dungeons will be next. Discovered those skull doors and round heavy doors in creative list.
-
Dont know how correct place this is. But I will ask quickly. Will there be ability to hold lanterns in hand? Wanted for some time something between cheap torch and flashlight to hold in my hand in caves.

I count 7 here...
Yeah. My camp was much smaller. Here:
-
Maybe...But I also got day spawns. Maybe make it separate setting from camps.
Addition: And I think my camp was smaller. 2 large tents and one small or so. (will check it out actually to verify) -
I think the new camps looting features are good.
I would like to see the random encounters with Bandits (such as when they just walked into my base camp and it was a doddle to kill them) and indeed Bandit Camp encounters a far more challenging risk.Higher risk for the rewards so to speak!
Bandits do walk into your camp actually by accident. Happened to me many times. I got my game set to spawn bandits during day and their amount to 30%. They did came to me.
Agree, that there could be more bandits around camps. Like 1-3 inside camp waiting and few more wandering around. -
I also disagree. In a matter of fact I want all pieces to be lootable. Most POIs are just boat wrecks and some collapsed mine shafts, that are empty. I only found one bandit camp in plains after playing whole day.

Did devs change terrain generation? Because I dont remember seeing this spectacular mountains, and almost all of them having flat tops.
P.S. It looks great. I actually love it more than mountains before.
