Hello Rising World fans! I have good news - you don't have to place furnaces or workbenches under the open sky ![]()
This factory is based on industrial buildings from early 20th century. There are two large furnaces inside, which was necessary for me, since I play in survival mode and need to process tons of ores. You can also find three rooms, the one upstairs is good as "boss office". I haven't placed any furniture, I rather want players to decide what to place inside, EXCEPT one room - I needed paperworks bad. Two ventilation fans are installed in one of walls. The roof has skylights to provide additional lighting in the daylight. The larger door I plan to use as an entrance for mine carts, if we have them in Rising World someday, then I will add rails. The main hall looks empty, but I plan to make some machines for decoration like lathe or forklift as blueprints. Also, metal cabinets and lockers. Enjoy!
I would be glad if we had strawberries back. I remember that finding them was a challenge in that high grass, but sometimes they can be spotted through binoculars outside the grass visibility area. Of course, the fruits and vegs we already have is enough to be stuffed, but strawberries would be useful if we have an option to prepare drinks in the future.
Also, modern rifle and kevlar armor - I remember night hunting in the Java version - bandits stood no chance.
Something that would look nice in your garden. I built it in a beautiful forest clearing, and when we have more terrain etditing options, I will add a small pond with waterfall there. You can place what you want inside, chairs, benches, tables...
Looks amazing
Thank you! As you can see on the picture, I placed a campfire nearby, to cook some meat and potatoes. It's no more necessary, now you can place a stove inside, you can find a blueprint under this link:
Forestry lookout tower with stove (read description)
It happened to me yesterday, but it looked more like the game turned from base building survival into some kind of surrealistic horror!
I was building a gazebo on a forest clearing, and a group of bandits spawned nearby. I dealt with them quickly with a rifle, and suddenly a thunderstorm began. When I returned to the construction site of the gazebo, strange events started. First, the workbench disappeared, then something strange happened to my horse. It turned into a strange creature with twisted legs and very small head, like a result of "Chernobyl zone" mutation
and the saddle disappeared. I returned to my village on foot, to find that houses are without doors, chests and lamps.
Fortunately, everything returned to normal after restarting the game. I only lost the horse, but quickly found a new one. A creepy experience, but from now, I will backup my world more often ![]()
The gazebo will be ready soon and I will upload a blueprint.
Hello,
After finishing my "victorian" house, I needed something to make rooms look nice and comfortable. Here is a set of furniture including a bed, two dressers, two cupboards and a lamp.
Wonderful. Thankyou
I am glad you like it. More furniture like this is coming. Now my "victorian" house is ready and I need to place some tables, desks, and cupboards inside. You can download the house here:
A "simplified" victorian style house, perfect for your farm, village or town
I love houses like that, yours turned out beautifully.
Thanks. I searched for inspiration by browsing countless photos of houses in the internet, but I did not want to copy the whole building. I rather looked for details, like windows, balconies, roofs, and tried to integrate them in one building.
Your house looks very nice
Thank you, too. Now it's time for safari on the desert island, I hope to bring back a lot of lion pelts, and then I will start to build a factory ![]()
Hello,
This is a blueprint of a house that looks like many others in the USA. Calling what I built a "victorian house" would be an insult to proffessional arcitects, so let's call it "simplified victorian"
. There are lights inside, and no furniture, let owners decide what they want to put in. Someone may ask: "why ceiling so high?" Well, I wanted to install my special chandeliers and I did not want to bang it with my head everytime I enter living room :). Enjoy!
Caution: There is still a bug in Rising World that makes glass blocks invisible through window panes, so some lamps can look strange from the outside.
I believe we will have all these features in the Unity version. And, of course, something that will make desert islands worth visiting - pyramids with undergeound treasure chambers!
Very nice!
Thank you. The lamp is also available as a blueprint, I uploaded it earlier. I needed to scale it down a bit for this desk.
Hello.
I was long hesitating before I decided to upload this. That was because of an annoying bug, that prevents to place the complete stove at once. As some of you may know, the fireplace is unable to scale, unless you use a simple trick with blueprint. So did I, to fit it to the stove. But there is a bug - everytime I place that stove, the cooking grate doesn't spawn. The only solution is to make a grate in a workbench and place it manually, it will adjust to the size of the fireplace.
The stove may look nice inside a wooden house or cabin or a "Wooden guardhouse", one of my earlier blueprints, especially at night. I did not add the vertical part of the chimney, because I wanted players to decide how long they want it, depending on where the roof is. It's made of metal, material 702, painted black.
The forestry tower is good to place in a spruce forest, it's higher than trees. I found it especially useful on the arctic island, but I didn't want to copy the tower from The Long Dark. There is a stove and bed inside, and if you stuck on the stairs, just use the "jump" key. The tower can make a perfect location to admire the "Aurora Borealis" over the arctic island.
I know one of pillars is longer, I had to do it, since I built it on an uneven terrain.
Just a smaller version of the desk I uploaded prviously. Needs less room.
Finally finished. Those railngs took a lot more time than stairs, I had to use 1 degree angle resolution ![]()
