I still can't connect either.

I can connect to every other server I've tried, but not The Deadlands.

I can't connect again. Not sure what the issue is this time.

It's not a game issue, as I can connect to other servers. I also got 100% loss when I ping win.thedeadlands.net.

The main server is freaking out. Constant connection errors.

Yeah, I got it through steam on the night of the 5th I think.

From time to time doors become unusable to me. This usually happens after using f2 to either recover from falling through the terrain or to build in hard to reach areas. When this happens, the door can not be interacted with in any way. It also will not respond to being hit with tools for deconstruction...instead the tool will target the blocks on the other side of the door.

Server needs a restart. It's not loading the terrain properly again. It's just showing black and white chunks again.

Reminding you to take a memory usage reading this time before restarting to see if it's a possible memory leak issue.

We're desperately in need of a map function.

Players on the server I play on have often lost their their constructions, and the compass is only so helpful in finding it again.

What I'd really like to see is a blank map of the general overland terrain, which players could mark "locations" on as they find them...instead of just having everything marked on there for us in real-time.

Those sound pretty good.

Also, is there a way to turn off /showareas?

If we can agree on some general ettiqutte type rules, I will work on a "bulletin board" texture to be placed at spawn.

Still get the message that I'm not an admin or moderator.

What commands should I have access to, /showareas doesn't work, nor does /selectarea

It tells me I am not an administrator when trying to use any of the / commands.

Again, I'd like to offer my help as a moderator if you need/want.

So, that's what I'm seeing when I log in. The game loads to 15% then flips out and loads the world, all holey and screwed up. I can't move without the flymode being enabled and I can't collect any resources or interact with anything.

Something is up with the server. I connect fine, but changes I make are not saved, and I can not get stone or logs.

I'm undertaking a community project to build the jail. I'm doing it close to spawn, but not super far away. once the building is done, you can mark it with the handy dandy scripts when they're ready to go.

I'd also be glad to help out as well.

My house was also griefed pretty heavily. Lots of holes punched in the wall and all my furniture was stolen.

Ace server. Laid back, decent players were on while I was on. Will definitely be back.
