Finding aluminium ore seems to be a very common problem that causes extreme frustration. Perhaps adding a link to the journal to the inventory page would show players that the journal exists and they can then find the pages for the different ores.
Add link to journal to the inventory page.

That is a kind offer but now that i know the journal exists (thanks again) I am ok. My concern is for other new players for how they will find the journal.
