Unable to play driver times out

  • Every time I've tried to play at some point I get an error from AMD that a driver has timed out causing the game to crash.

I've done file integrity checking through Steam, my drivers are up to date and my system is more than capable of handling this game.

Currently attempting to run under the previous version to see if that makes it work for more than 5 to 10 minutes.

  • I'm sorry to hear about the crash :/ But thanks for the log file! According to the log, the crash occurs when creating an internal rendering texture (used by the engine, or more specifically, by HDRP [the render pipeline]). This indicates that this is either an issue with the engine itself, or a driver/hardware issue... most likely it's caused by the driver. It seems there is a newer driver available on the AMD homepage (25.3.2) - I'd recommend to give this driver a try.

  • если проблема не будет решена попробуй убрать плагины от них то же бывают проблемы

If the prbble is not decided, try to remove the plugins from them the same problems

Я даю всем полное право использовать мои чертежи

I give everyone the full right to use my drawings

  • if the problem is not solved try removing the plugins, they also have problems

If the prbble is not decided, try to remove the plugins from them the same problems

I'm not running any plugins. The problem did go away until I was placing a building block and attempted to rotate something, I forget what now.

Adding the log just in case.

  • I'm sorry to hear that it's still crashing :( But according to the log files, the game was already using the AMD GPU from the beginning

According to the new log, it's basically still the same crash - an internal rendering texture is created which crashes the graphics driver. Another user reported exactly the same issue, in fact he's also using an AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT, so it's very likely that this is a driver bug. Of course there is also a chance that there is a bug or incompatibility in the Unity version we're using which affects this graphics card specifically...

Unfortunately we cannot upgrade to a newer Unity version for the upcoming update, but maybe we can manage an engine update for one of the following hotfixes (however, this only helps if the issue is actually caused by an engine bug).

One thing you could try is to downgrade the driver. You could try out the driver that was released in December or October last year: https://www.amd.com/en/support…md-radeon-rx-7600-xt.html
