Hello Rising World Team,
I’ve been experiencing repeated crashes while playing Rising World, and I attached logs and system info to help with troubleshooting.
System Specs:
-
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU
-
Driver: 32.0.15.8129 (latest as of Sept 2025)
-
Windows 11 (Build 26100.5074)
Crash Details:
-
The game consistently crashes shortly after loading into the world.
-
This happens even with low graphics settings.Player.logPlayer.logPlayer-prev.logCrash_2025-09-26_082906919.zip
-
I tested different Tdr settings in the registry (TdrLevel = 0, 3, TdrDelay = 10). The crash still occurs.
-
I also disabled overlays (Steam, NVIDIA, Discord) — crash still occurs.
Error Pattern in Logs:
-
Repeated Direct3D allocation errors before the crash:
-
Eventually, the game crashes with:
DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED
-
Crash dumps show the faulting module as UnityPlayer.dll with
INVALID_POINTER_READ_c0000005
.
Steps already tried:
-
Full clean reinstall of NVIDIA drivers with DDU.
-
Testing Vulkan launch option (
-force-vulkan
). -
Lowering graphics to minimum.
-
Disabling all overlays.
-
Adding Rising World to Windows Defender exclusions.
Request:
Could you please confirm if this is a known issue with Unity’s Direct3D 11 renderer in Rising World? Is there a patch or workaround planned for RTX 30–series GPUs?
I can provide Player.log
, error.log
, and crash dumps (attached).
Thank you for your time and support!
Best regards,
Sajith
