trying to get blueprint in but it tells me "need blueprint" even know I put it in the right folder label Blueprints. So, question is what am I doing wrong or missing?

you must hold a blueprint in your hand when you open the book

I am not sure to understand, but probably the programme message has to be taken literally: you need to have a blueprint item in one of the quick slots (1 - 5) of your inventory and to equip it (selecting that quick slot) in order to be able to use a blueprint file.
