First time Hosting a server for firends

I use GTX hosting and it has done well, but I cannot figure out how to kill the old world and start a new one on the server. Can anyone else who uses GTX offer some help. Thanks.

I am not using GTX as a serverhost but if you just want to start a new world, navigate to the Worlds directory on the server (they must provide you with some sort of file managing interface) and delete your world, then a new one will be created.

Thanks. What I did that messing around as I waited for a reply (which was very quick thank you very much) was to do the configuration setup. Gave it a new name, changed the seed and rarity of metals from 4 to 1 and saved it and that became the default world. I guess it is tied to the IP regardless of name becuase the new world replaced the old one in my favorites

yes a server can only have 1 world active at a time (well unless you run multiple server instances inside the same server but that would need extra things so let's not go there for now)

So as long as you set up the correct name in the server.properties file you will get the equivalent world online
