I am not sure, but I think it is a bit lower than before now. Is this a common issue or do I need to check my system again?

so i assume you hit F3 too look?....what is the fps you see?

I use fraps as well.for me it shows anywhere from 16-60(which is what I set it at)...which isn't necessarily accurate. f3 will give you a better fps.also anything running on the pc makes a difference.when I make videos I boot into selective mode,enabling only the necessary processes.

The best way to show the FPS is to press F9 (or alternatively, type fps into console), since F3 also lowers your framerate a little bit (to gather all debug information^^).
But there was no change that should have a noticeable impact on framerate

Yes, also in mp. I think I had like 30 - 40 before, now it often is at around 10 fps, max. 25 sometimes -
Did you change any graphical settings? Maybe a setting has been reset after the update?
