xp for doing various things and or possibly steam achievement integration...what do you think?
XP,steam achievements

I do like seeing how many hours played via steam....

Seeing how many hours you've played via Steam isn't an achievement. Just something Steam does.
I would prefer some kind of in-game achievements that give benefits for a short time, something like that. I don't care about the Steam achievements personally.
But maybe something like getting +25% exp for 10min every 100 bottles of milk made. Mind you, that would not work with the way crafting is currently done since you can do any amount in an instant... So maybe leave crafting out of it haha
Anyways, if something like this was added, just make it some passive bonus for a short time which doesn't blast your screen when it happens. Just a notice in the corner along with subtle sound or something. Want it to add to the immersion, not interrupt it.

Steam Achievements
red51 said here that achievements will come, so I guess they will be integrated in steam as well, if you have it on steam. For the exp thing, I believe that it would only be a nice thing, if RW would slowly turn into a role play game. Because I think Minecraft has this exp thing, and as far as I can remember, it was pretty pointless.
Of course you could chop wood faster the more you have done it, but then it should not make such a huge difference, because otherwise, why would you need better tools (if they will come, idk)?
I guess the devs should make it slowly, like they have done with some tools that don't have recipes yet: First add a new feature, so here maybe some fighting skills or magic attributes and then care about how you should get them or how you should rise to a higher level where you can obtain those skills. -
I trusted you turbo! haha search function dude!

well yeah but I was only asking what you peeps thought about either or
-
Lel wut
I am not a peep.
Why either or? I think these things do not exclude each other. I mean, exp is just getting specific points for a lot of things and level - ing up, achievements are "notes" you get for doing (more or less) special things. -
peep is short for people. are you not human?

I don't know to be honest. But I am A Native speaker, so I only stick to what the dicc. tells me and because of it I assumed that peep is supposed to be a bird or something.

So, you think we don't need any of this? Then why do you suggest it?
