    As the caption says, it would be nice to have (to be able to craft) metal detector, which can detect metal ore, like iron, aluminium, copper, etc. so we don`t have to change default textures to find aluminium in caves for example...

    Avenger, you`re not alone... I also think that game is is very slow progressing, and get used of blaming and flaming, because I think there is whole Reds family here on forum :), but as I will always say what is on my mind, so should everybody, everybody has its opinion, in civilized world its called "free speech"...

    Seems that everybody missed *obviously* one more point. Not all programmers are the same skill. What one makes easy in few steps, other must take long time to do... so from what am I seeing here, it will be a long ride with Rising world... but I am ok with it... for example, more frustrated for me is that oculus runtime 0.7.0 broke my Elite Dangerous game.... and they will not update it untill 1.0.0 runtime (december 2015)....and that hurts...

    I just want to remind all of you on forum and Red himself, that today is 24. August, just one week until end of the month. So august "Biomes" update comes, or is postponed for september? :)

    I think on symetric building, like in Space engineers, what you do on left side of symetry, is automatic done on right side of symetry... like mirrored building...it is good when you want to create a plane, car, ship....or other object which has simetry plane

    What is actually size of a building block, compared with real life?


    Can it be resized? When yes, how?


    Left shift for row block placement don`t work, or I don`t know to use it...

    It didn`t surprise me at all... we of course need blueprints more than biomes and water...(sarcasm) especially in so early stage of game development...but, Red, you could calmly skip this update as you could skip all since I bought the game.... and to concentrate to what game really needs, and that is content, man, content ... diversity of terrain, animals, npc-s...., multiplayer needs cleaning to, lag is sometimes awful, and lag peaks brake the game, who needs blueprints when you`re still falling through ground man.... I think you`re doing to much side job and not doing core of the game... sorry, I am little disappointed....

    So, no new announcement, but what you people are thinking. Will be an update today, tomorrow, .... ,or no, and what do you expect in it... I`ll start with my expectations (totally sincerely)...


    Update comes in next few days, and brings us new cool Journal font, also few new building blocks and of course new sort of light, with few bugfixes. With this update and new content frequency, Biomes update with more animals, monsters, etc. comes 2nd quarter 2018, and water, well who needs water.... no water at all.... Electricity, Rail sys... wow, that`ll be Rising World DLC....


    I am not angry, and I am not giving up on this game though, I have 4 years old daughter, she`ll play it retail with 12...

    Well, to be honest, I am waiting biomes update, those small updates they`re trying to fill waiting time with, are just taking away their time. Personally, after creating few houses, farming, game comes to exploring, which I have done to Hell and back, but it is pointless to run from one to the other side of map, knowing that it is always plain, hill, mountain, grass, trees, plain, hill, mountain, grass, trees, plain, hill, mountain, grass, trees....I am scared from water update though. Even more than Red & co. I guess. I played a lot of EA survival crafting games created in Unity, but none of those have working fluid water, lakes yes, but fluid water no....

    1. 7 Days to Die physics is what we need.


    2. Imagine building a stone tower, and you can carry just a few stones at one time because of weight...=>in survival forget big and awesome buildings, people would build just cottages, or underground shelters, because it would take too long to create something big and glamorous. I don`t support that idea..

    At first I would like to see a bicycle... few iron ingots, rubber to make parts (frame, wheels, gearing, etc) and all that combine together when you buy blueprint from a local internet market (ingame). There could be few types of bycicles, mountain bike (max speed 3x walking speed), for all sort of terrains, racing bike (6x walking speed) for asphalt roads...electro bike which needs a electromotor and a battery too... etc, etc...

    If you bought the game from the Steam, we can find each other to play together, unfortunately I don`t speak Russian...


    On the server screen you can change "PVP" to "PVE" for the servers without violence...

    When you mentioned different worlds... would be nice to see RW worlds as planets, so that we could craft a spaceship to travel between them...or maybe just Moon, or so... would be nice... yes...

    Game and the server just updated themselves to a 0.5.7.5 version. I noticed new Journal, and nothing else. What is new in this update?
