Thanks red for clarifying the difference between source code and Plugin API, cause I was not aware of the difference!
-
red51 I have a very important question regarding the source codes for the next version of Rising World.
Are the source codes going to be free for the public so people can make plugins, or are you going to charge money for them this time?
Also, is it ok if people sell plugins? A friend of mine wants to make and sell plugins for the next version of Rising World. Is it ok for plugin creators to sell their plugins?

im not sure if there was a plugin

That would be awesome to have the hunger and thirst in real time! Speaking of real time, in the new version, is there going to be an option to add real time in game for the day cycle for not only singleplayer but for multiplayer too? red51

red51 about when will servers come out for the new version after the demo?
-
That would be pretty laggy I would guess if you put planks or beams on a moving door lol

red51 Have you worked on my idea of a the glass door that is mostly glass? Since I have gotten into Sketchup lately, here are some concept designs for you:

Ok. I’m just saying that would be nice to have measurements of elements listed in game.
-
It would be absolutely amazing to have measurement conversions for each element in the next version! This way, people like me, who love working with Sketchup can design buildings for Rising World with ease!
For example, today I learned that 1 Block is equivalent to about .50 Centimeters(1/2 Meter). Well, I'm thinking listing measurements like that would be very helpful when looking at a element, just like in the current version, the Texture ID, heighth, width, etc. are listed about the element that your are pointing at.
I am having quite a difficult time trying to get the scale of Rising World into Sketchup. I did see the post made by Miwarre, but it doesn't really help. I got as far as the half-meter scale and that is it.

As ebisgames mentioned, we will try to get the demo ready before Christmas Can't give an ETA unfortunately, just can say that the demo definitely arrives this year - and hopefully it will be ready before Christmas
Actually the demo is *almost* ready, it just needs some fine tuning. There is, however, another thing we want to get ready: Proper animations for items. While some working items are already in the game (i.e. the whole item handling part is already implemented), we still have no new player model or animations for them. Items really look strange without hands and without proper animations... If we don't get that ready in time, I'd rather tend to disable items for the first demo release (of course there will still be a way to dig holes in the ground or destroy object, like an invisible pickaxe^^).
So once the "core demo" is ready and there is still some time left, we will try to get that part done before we release the demo. But as mentioned above, the demo definitely arrives this year (in the worst case without proper items).
Thanks! And let me know if you ever decide to make a discord and if I can help with that

I’m curious, are you waiting until Christmas to release the new version? Well if that’s the case you wouldn’t tell us, would you? 😏

Thanks allot! This will help me design builds with Sketchup! 😃

What is the unit of size in Rising World? I do believe it is metric, but what about precision? In other words, setp 1: is it 1mm?

Hello! this is a concept I made with Photoshop!

And as for hell, will there be caves in hell? Also do you plan to add more ores, such as diamond, emerald, etc.? I’m thinking that more rare ores(including sulfur) should be added in Hell caves(if you do decide to add caves in Hell.) Perhaps eventually adding dungeons in hell with a new mob, like a Demon mob. Also, adding better loot in hell dungeons?
Here is a concept:

Will you Eventually make an option to add structure integrity? Like support beam requirements for structures and such? This would be a great option for realistic construction!
