The next update will be available on Wednesday, December 18, in the early evening (GMT+1).
This update will not yet replace the Java version, instead it is the actual content update. We'll provide more information about the transition together with the update.

Hi Miwarre.
I have just started using this since its recent installation on one of the servers I play. It is fantastic in so many ways, not least in avoiding me being a pain to the admins requesting them to make planks all the time for me.
I am also expecting it will lift the standard of building within the whole community.
So yesterday I made a lot of fence with custom beams and planks. This required about 10 stacks of plank fence paling's. Add on the beams for posts and rails and I had well over 700 mouse clicks to complete the purchase. Poor mouse was very tired! Needed extra cheese rations.
Therefore I wondered if you could do anything to enable bulk buy - perhaps like we do at at the saw bench have a max button to buy a full stack with one click.
My mouse would appreciate it very much.
Cheers

Some might call it a bug.
But if you lay a diagonal path, BP it then rotate 180 it will reconfigure the ramp blocks into a more decorative style.

And another using BP

Following the patch to the update I have not experienced this again.
Solved I think.
Thanks
I spoke too soon.
Has since happened twice.
1st when using a BP
2nd not BP'ing
Log captured for 2nd - attached

Do you still get this issue? Please try to enable full logging, to do that, go to your game directory, open the "config.properties" file with a texteditor and set "game_debug_console" to true. Now start the game, and once this crash occurs, shutdown the game, go to the "Logs" folder (in your game directory) and upload the latest logfile here
Following the patch to the update I have not experienced this again.
Solved I think.
Thanks

FYI
Several of these on Win7 x64 i7 GTX 960
RW stand alone on multi server
Error occurred during application-update (25)
java.lang.ClassCastException
Seems to be associated with BP's and posters

The old door works half buried - at least until a better one is available
-
Hi Icon,
If you purchase a copy directly from RW you can play without Steam
-
Another thought I have had is extending the crafting mechanism whereby I am not able to craft an item if there is no room in inventory to receive it. Thus if inventory is full I cant dig any more stone et al.
-
Red thanks for considering the suggestion.
Whatever you decide will be fine with me.
-
The message briefly on screen when the inventory reaches full is useful, however many times I have missed it and continued digging stone but not collected it.
I suggest that the message be made to persistently display as long as the inventory remains full so that we are more likely to see it.
I have discussed this with numerous other players who also admit to missing the message from time to time.

Hey JJ,
Rising World is not Minecraft. Nor is RW comparable in any meaningful way with MC IMO. Yes they both have crafting and some survival aspects etc. but those are broad functions that don't necessarily bind them together. There are however many aspects that make them completely different.
There have been a vast array of successful games that do not have any monsters nor a particularly difficult start. I have no doubt there will continue to be many more such success stories in the future. I do recognise you and others hold a personal preference for that but I fail to see any reason why RW must have either monsters or hard starting in order to succeed. Similarly there are games that do well without becoming YouTube LP hits as MC has been.
I have no doubt you have discussed the genesis of MC's extraordinary success in some community, however there is no way to determine if that contention is actually true. Of the 24.3 million people who own MC you have perhaps sampled the opinion of maybe some hundreds who are active in the same place(s) you are. That does not comprise a robust sample of opinion. Further, how do we demonstrate whether any community opinion is at all valid in determining success mechanisms?
JJ I do not say you are wrong - but I am not at all convinced your contentions are correct.
BTW I suspect that the pertinent factors leading to MC's massive success will be complex and may be only known to Mojang who have access to more relevant data than anyone. Or it might just be a mystery to them too.

Nice place you got here! Keep up the great work.
Thanks AD.
With practice my abilities and enjoyment of the plank & beam system continue to grow.
Got some ambitious projects in mind for the future. Maybe.....

Modelled on a barn but this building could suit a variety of uses.
BP has no floor. Lay your floor 20x13 blocks
Building is rotatable

I am keen to see improved size options. When landscaping around builds there is a huge gap between long stemmed blooms (which aren't even plants) and trees.
Shrubs/bushes, hedges and other medium sized specimens, both useful and/or decorative would be great.

Thank you all for the kind comments

@PhartBlast you know I just caught the meaning of your username from watching tremors. I believe they are called ass-blasters if I remember right? Love it!
My user name can mean whatever you choose.
I never heard of Tremors before.
