As far as the spaces are concerned, we could also replace them with "_" first, so "ABC "DEF" GHI" would then become "ABC_"DEF"_GHI"? Don't know if that would be nicer?

this would be good if the game replaced the spaces in the names like this automatically. It would be good to have the rt click on the player list to ban or kick also.

seem to be having problems with the java server not wanting to start. Updating java to see if it helps.

server starts fine in the unity version.

As I mentioned in the first post, the name tags above our admin's heads stay green and will not change but on further investigation I find all the color settings in permissions to be acting up, as @Galachka is noting. I have set all the color settings to several different colors and nothing seems to happen.

lenko thanks for the propper command. it helps to use the proper comands lol.

red51 I went back and reset things the way you told me and for some reason everything started working. even all the console commads. I had set them all for admin anyway :). It all seems to work now, I will let you know if things change.

    I tried setting Permissions_AdminsFullPermissions=false in server.properties and

"noclipping": true, in admin permissions and I still can not fly through things and when I use noclipping in the console it says command doesn't exist with Permissions_AdminsFullPermissions set to true or false. All setting Permissions_AdminsFullPermissions=false did was turn off my ability to use commands. spg playername admin said insufficient permissions with Permissions_AdminsFullPermissions=false set, when I tried to set my group permissions cause things weren't working.

I don't know about regular players, if it happens to them, but as an admin it is not working. Permissions_AdminsFullPermissions=True is set in the server.properties file.

I know this is not verry high on your list to fix but when we turn a player into an admin the tag above their head turns green. When I add them to the admin group to alter ther tag and chat colors, the chat settings work but the tag above the player's head remains green no matter what I do. I have not tried this with a regular player yet but I think their color settings work properly, I will let you know, but the server admin above head tag is stuck on green for admin.

If you're an actual server admin (i.e. your UID is added to the "Admins" list in the server.properties), then your permissions should not be affected by areas... at least by default area groups

This is the problem, The areas are affecting the ability of admin to use console commands inside the protected areas. I see there has been a hotfix so I will let you know if the console problem is fixed.

Thank you for fixing that!!! The console now works as expected for admin.

I see how you were going about the permissions thing but shouldn't admin rights override any other permissions? I understand for regular players, having it set this way but I would think admin rights should take president over all of it. In any case it is workable, now admins just have to make sure they are not in a protected area when using the console. It would be good if the commands could be controlled by the area permission but that would mean that admins would have to have a special group in the area permissions group, to be set every time an area is made, for all admins. I still think making admin privileges override all other settings would be best for admins. For the normal player it is set up fine like it is.

player xxx is an admin. Player yyy is also an admin. After a restart of the server, player xxx logs into the server and above his head is [ADMIN] xxx. Player yyy then logs in and has [ADMIN] xxx above their head. If the server is now restarted and player yyy logs in first they now have [ADMIN] yyy above their head and when player xxx logs in the same thing happens, [ADMIN] yyy is shown.

There is still a problem with console commands when inside of a protected area. gm 1 will work but most other console commands won't work. To get them to work you need to leave the protected area. This is while in the owner's group with everything turned on.

Will there be a way for server owners to alter the speed that plants/food develops and grows? This would be handy for servers that have a monetary system, a way to control the value of food and materials by the speed they develop. This would allow for a better controlled farming profession IMHO.

a simple not allowing a blueprint to be made in the base permissions of an area in the unity version should be protection enough from other people making blueprints of your builds. While when a player is added to the property, they can be allowed to make blueprints on that property when set to something like friend or owner. This is done in the permissions and set when setting a protected area and adding a player to the area. I believe you can restrict the placement of blueprints the same way.

You can make several different permissions to be used as base area permissions in the Unity version. In this way you can have different base permissions in different areas. This is in addition to the Owners permission and the friend permission groups that you set when adding a player to an area. The owner of the server just has to make them and place them in the proper place in permissions.

I believe this is already possible in the unity version although blueprints have not been enabled yet.
