We just had this discussion on steam.
Wandering merchants (NPC) are definitely planned, as far as i know. So trading with NPC will be possible.
However players can already trade with each other. On a specific server you could use ingots or maybe coins at some point to pay your shopings. However that sounds, to me, like a job for a plugin. There is one already for economy actually.
To bring it on the spot - Rising World is a sandboxgame. That means its providing tools + material to the player to do whatever they want. An economy in which you need to pay for something would demand to restrict access to tools, material, etc. Otherwise - why should someone pay for it? And why should someone gather tons of gold?
Just my 2 cents on this topic.

Ja, denke ich auch. Ist nicht schlimm aber halt n bug

Update... This morning i built on my cathedral. I placed a beam and suddenly a huge part was gone. It showed up again as i placed one more beam
-
You are my hero... You got great ideas!!
-
I did place one beam in one of the holes after i found it missing.
Then minimized the window, posted and when i checked back on the game the beams were back. All but the last one, which is partially overlapping with another one.
I couldn't reproduce it until now though.
The only reproducable thing until now was that on certain heights and only in certain places i could not place any beam. But that's another issue i guess

Awesome!!

Maybe the disc has no space anymore?
-
Flickering can also be avoided by making the planks or beams one step smaller /bigger each time.
Use sets 1 to do the smallest steps possible and you won't really see the difference

oh sweet memories

Hmm... when placing the beams, did you use the modular placement (i.e. the snapping feature [return key])? You said the beams showed up eventually after minimizing the game, does this mean the beams showed up without having to reload the world (or restarting the game)?
Is the bug still reproducible (maybe even at this particular location)?
Indeed. I did not restart or reload the game or chunk.Yes, i used the snapin function to build the wall.
I could not reproduce it. I think i remember it happened to me before but never really wasted a thought on it as i thought i might have forgot i didn't finish this row.
In this case I'm sure though as i built in this world just the evening before and didn't leave this row unfinished.
I saw a thread a while ago where someone complained about several blocks missing in his floor. The conclusion was that someone else has damaged it but maybe it wasn't the case after all?
The closest thing i could reproduce was that on tall buildings sometimes and only on certain height and row a beam didn't connect to the pervious beam but vanished. Even before placing.

Very beautiful

-
Einzeln gesetzt

Yes, red 51 mentioned you will be able to toggle off hostile npc.
But in either case i doubt they will be a big threat. They spawn only in unchanged chunks. So any chunk you alter is save

You have no idea about our German tax laws...

When you create a blueprint, you give it a name and you can name a subfolder to put it in.
When you select the blueprint you want to set, you just click on the name and can see a picture of it on the right side of the journal.
Once selected and activated you have the ghost shape of the blueprint as placeable object.
Left click holds in place, right click sets it. Arrow keys, pgup/dn move it, just like planks and beams.
If misplaced you can undo the last blueprint via console command undobp

kommt doch drauf an was du genau machen willst. willst du erforschen, dann grab weiter nach unten (achtung, fallgefahr in die lava) und in die seiten (dungeons)
