Thanks for the answers friends, I had not thought about the second account, it is a fantastic idea, although provisional. I'll probably try.
I know it's INTENSE to record something like this, I mean, there are so many things that happen in the game that I know it would be complicated but not impossible. I still think that someone could create a dedicated mod and it would be great because a strong point of this game is the VISUAL, to appreciate our progress and if it is about big worlds... It would be nice to be able to document it. Some time ago on YouTube I found a video of a world in the JAVA version that was like a somewhat large city and I think it was done alone. I think that for those types of big worlds it would be perfect to be able to see the progress through images or videos.

RED, you're right, some screenshots would really be enough for a time-lapse, hopefully they can create what you're saying, an alternative plugin to the screenshot that the game already comes with, and I don't think many have a problem with being close to where it's going to be placed said "camera", since what one wants to capture is what one is going to work on and build.

I have another idea but I don't know if it can be possible to do it:
Electricity is planned at some point, it would be cool to put "surveillance cameras" (or even handheld video cameras) and have them be 100% functional, both to connect them to a screen or monitor in the game and see what that person observes camera in real time, to take screenshots and record videos at different qualities and export them to a folder on our computer. I know it's a well-traveled idea, but I see it as possible and I think it would invariate the game a bit.

Thanks for the reply, I am glad to know that there will be various types of water in the future, such as muddy water. It sounds great that the game detects the size and gives it reflections accordingly, great idea.

On the subject of lights, I meant that what interests me is that the lights are seen in the distance, not so much the models of torches and bonfires. Thanks for the tip on the configurable file, I'll give it a try, does it also make the lights look further away or just the torch models?

About the map: I think it's good that you're taking the time to do it, at least for me the JAVA version map seemed very buggy, I loved that it was satellite type and that it will be updated in real time but I think that needs to be improved, in other forum posts I saw that they suggested several types of map to choose from such as medieval type maps, I think the map is an important point in this game :)

It made me very happy to know that soon there will be biomes in the game, it is the most expected by many, together with the recent update of animals, everything is looking very fine in terms of this migration ;) Thanks for commenting on the nopales , the biomes sounds like they will be very complete.

Speaking of hints and plants again... There is a type of plant that thrives on the surface of the water a lot, a lesser known type of Water Lily, it would be great to have these plants in the game, since there are no floating plants yet I leave some photos of these particular type of water plant:

And of course be cool have the classic water lilys in the near future:

I also wanted to suggest if it might be possible in the future to have objects to see from afar, something like pirate telescopes or electronic binoculars (I suggest these two objects because they fit both in the rustic and medieval, as well as in the modern. I suggest binoculars ("scope") like those from Metal Gear Solid 3 xD Something with a loooot of zoom, powerful haha

I forgot that suggestion in my previous comment, but I seem to remember that there was a Telescope in the JAVA version, although maybe I'm wrong and that's why I wanted to suggest it.

Thanks for the answer about the smoke, it only remains to wait.

About the other things, more than anything I wanted to know if they are still in the plans, thanks for making everything so clear about the hinges, ships and fixing objects in the world.

I really love how the game is turning out, you can see the love put here. I have seen some videos on YouTube in my mother language (Spanish) and the new game is getting very good reviews, they say that the development has been a bit slow but that is because it is being done very, very well, with great care and attention to detail , meticulously and that's why the game is really being re-polished from its previous version. I'm telling you so that you take things easy and continue as you have done, I wish there were more games like this, so artistic and creative. Thanks for everything RED :D

How about RED, thank you very much for the attention and for reading.

Well, I have some doubts and some suggestions :)

My first question is about the water, it is more than anything talking about the graphic. The change that the game had in its migration from JAVA to Unity was abysmal, it looks beautiful, however there are other things that I think can be improved.

I have noticed that the water of the new version lost many qualities of the JAVA version, speaking specifically about the reflections... In JAVA the water looked very good too, we could see the reflection of the Sun, the Moon, the stars, the sky, but also of the trees and the buildings and the reflection was even very well achieved with the waves of the water.

Now in Unity I have only seen that the Sun and the Moon are reflected. I think that the reflections in the water of the JAVA version are superior to those of the new version. EVERYTHING was reflected.

I guess the new version water lost those features more for performance than anything, but it would be really nice to have those beautiful reflections with the graphics now! I'm only talking about sea water, rivers and lakes, PUDDLES are BEAUTIFUL.

They could put an option in the graphics menu to activate those reflections, something like "complex or ultra quality reflections". I have also noticed that the reflections of the Sun and the Moon in the new version have some errors when there are many clouds, because the Sun and the Moon are reflected in the water even if we do not see them in the sky when they are covered by clouds.

I imagine that the reflections of the water in this new version are a little less detailed than those in JAVA for performance reasons, but I think that everything would depend in the end on the computer on which it is played.

Another big question I have is about the lights... I'm making a very, very large world and I have the problem that the torches and bonfires that I put up can't be seen at medium distances, I would say short... It's something that really bothers me. I wish it could be improved, as well as something optional in the graphics menu (I already have everything maxed out in my graphics, practically, including the amount of lights and the draw distance). I know that there are limits that they put in order not to spoil performance, but I would like to be able to see more lights and further away during game nights.

    Moving on to other questions:

When will we have the option to permanently place any object in the world?

Another question is when we will have other important objects such as the map, the hinges to make special doors and the option to create functional custom ships? I know that the latter is less important in its development, I just have the doubt if we will see that soon or it was already discarded in the plans.

Two other silly questions: can you paint the water? And will there be hail in the game at some point?

I have some small suggestions for development that I hope will help you:

Someone said it before, if there could be more types of trees, maybe it sounds very demanding but it would be cool to have some endemic trees from each continent, I ask you because what I'm doing requires that I have nopales like the ones on the Mexican flag, yes were possible...

I would love if they could integrate fish and frogs into the animals, or something more aquatic fauna. About the fishes, it would be nice if they don't appear just using the fishing rod, but are actually swimming in the water.

I don't know if there could be an object that would serve to simply emit smoke and be visually noticeable, like chimneys are seen in the cold.

The game is turning out beautiful, especially since you can now make terraprints, you don't know how much that detail helps those of us who make big worlds!

I hope the development of this great game is being more enjoyable for you, even more so now that you have already done the most difficult thing;) I will always say that it is a masterpiece, to make masterpieces, pure art, my favorite video game, and I have played many, regards my dear RED.

Hii RED, I have some doubts about the new version, could you answer this post if you have a chance to read my observations and my questions? Thank you for keeping this gem of a game optimized as it should be, I appreciate it.

Hii, this is my first post, so, I only been searching for a mod for this game, like the replay mod on Minecraft, with no success.

The idea is do timelapses of the building job in the worlds, with no limits on the site we must want to view, and with posiblity of replay our entire gameplay.

Please, now with the plug in API I think we are more close to the day of that tool be created.

Take it into account, seriously, I know that many of us would like to be able to see our progress of weeks, months and even years recorded on videos.

    Greetings friends.

Red, thanks for replying. I like the point where you mention that it's a technical demo and it was really to be expected. It seems to me that it is being successful that we first get a close idea of what the game will become in this migration of the core and processing. I have not played the last update for a while, more than anything because although the blueprints can be migrated, it will be very laborious to rearrange all the constructions of the worlds and make these new worlds the closest thing to what they were in the JAVA version. It gets complicated with the posters or the terrain.

For this reason I prefer to wait until the game becomes stable enough :)

On the other hand, for me (as for most of us who love every detail of this wonderful game) that does not mean that there is a rush for the game to be ready urgently, and I say it because personally I think it is a difficult year for the world in general O.o I imagine that all of us who value each little rock in this game prefer to be totally patient so that everything goes right, great things take their well-deserved time. Those of us who are loyal to this game are going to follow things more closely and I think that this project is really ambitious, especially with the new emerging technologies.

Sometimes my head has a lot of ideas and I don't know, I just wanted to suggest that maybe in the distant future (calmer but more technological) it would be great if we could have this very artistic game on our Android devices xD Of course not with the graphics full, I think it is possible by limiting many things hahaha.

My strange idea is that we can play (even if graphics are sacrificed, such as distance view, for fluid performance) on our phone, but edit our worlds both offline and online (using a cloud) ... I know it sounds difficult but serious viable for players, since building (even in creative mode) is time consuming, time that sometimes is left over when one is outside and it would be perfect to take your smartphone and know that you are making your world grow more without having to be connected to a computer.
I know this is a crazy idea but I just wanted to suggest it.

Thank you very much for your constant and great work, but above all for keeping us informed :D It always brings a big smile to me when I see new images and videos of how the game is going, really thanks :P

This is beautiful :D I think that demo is already in hand and that is one of the best news this week :)

    My main question is:

In this update / demo, will it be possible to create blueprints?

And my other big question is:

If blueprints will already be available in this demo, can we export those blueprints to the final version / migration of the game to unity? I mean when the latest java version is fully converted to unity, even with new features like electricity.

Thank you very much for paying attention to details, that's what makes games great, progress shows
