I reinstalled steam command in new location and seems to have fixed my issue.

And I used \steamcmd +force_install_dir "D:\RisingWorld" +login anonymous +app_update 339010 -beta unity -validate and that seemed to do the trick.

Thanks Red, no that batch file is for my server update, i put it together I think from threads here. I haven't run / updated it in a while and it says there are no updates. I get a version mismatch when i start the server.

Ive tried the below and nothing is triggering an update.

question - I try to update my server and the old batch files does not work. I removed -beta and nothing. Any tips to get the new dedicated unity server updated?

Question - I have the below setting on my unity dedicated server and skellies dont drop anything when i kill them. Is it random?

Nice update, starting to come together. Everything feels clean and cohesive.

One thing missing is the weight of hits to trees and rocks. Currently it does not feel like you are mining the rock or chopping the tree.

I get a weird fisheye effect when looking up or down. IS that normal?

Ok I just wiped everything out and not issues. But updating exiting folder gave me that error at top of server client originally. Probably user error. TY sir!

Ok will do! It did seem to download and update. The error was when I started the server right at the top of the output window.

I deleted the folder and now it wont do anything at all lol. Let me work on it.

Hi is there a new appID for the update? I tried to update, seemed to work but I get error about version mismatch on start up.

Very cool! Yeah I knew the game was still very early and small support staff. Felt like donating to the cause as I really enjoy survival games. I do think I underestimated the unity status and missed the "Demo" stage, so that would make sense that there are still a bunch of things missing. Wife and I will wait for the update launch of unity and come back then.

I setup a dedicated server at home using new version beta, got connected and am in game woot!

Question - I searched forum looking for 3rd person setting and nada. I found old posts saying there are plans but not yet. Is it enabled now perchance?
