    morning,

    question - I try to update my server and the old batch files does not work. I removed -beta and nothing. Any tips to get the new dedicated unity server updated?

    \steamcmd +force_install_dir "D:\RisingWorld" +login anonymous +app_update 339010 -beta unity

    Changed the title of the thread from “Ser4ver Upate Question” to “Server Update Question”.

    The new version isn't shipped with any batch files :thinking: When running a Windows server, you can just run the RisingWorldServer.exe (and for a Linux server, you can execute the RisingWorldServer.x64 accordingly).


    If your server does not get updated properly, you can try to append a -validate parameter to the app_update command, e.g. app_update 339010 -validate ;)

    Thanks Red, no that batch file is for my server update, i put it together I think from threads here. I haven't run / updated it in a while and it says there are no updates. I get a version mismatch when i start the server.


    Ive tried the below and nothing is triggering an update.

    \steamcmd +force_install_dir "D:\RisingWorld" +login anonymous +app_update 339010 -validate -beta unity

    \steamcmd +force_install_dir "D:\RisingWorld" +login anonymous +app_update 339010 -validate


    EDIT version on 0.7.5.1 version I should be on from error 0.8.0.2

    I reinstalled steam command in new location and seems to have fixed my issue.


    And I used \steamcmd +force_install_dir "D:\RisingWorld" +login anonymous +app_update 339010 -beta unity -validate and that seemed to do the trick.
