    Hello again,

I've returned to Rising World after a really long time playing! My goal hasn't disappeared.

I've played the Towny plugin for Minecraft. This gave players the ability to create new, or join existing, towns. Those managing the towns could create plots and different plot types. You may have a residential plot for player homes, or a shop plot for player-run, or admin-run, shops. This plugin worked well with a economy Minecraft server.

Ideally, I'd love to manage a Rising World server. I'd love to have towns throughout the world map. Rather than players randomly claiming random land throughout the wilderness, I'd rather have them claim their own plot - which they pay taxes for - within a town. Once they own their own player plot, they can choose what they like to do for it. As for paying taxes, players could earn money through various methods. They may earn money through completing NPC quests, or selling in-game items.

I don't want players to randomly claim plots within the wilderness, or build within the wilderness. I'd rather players live together within towns.

    Hello RW Community,

I have played Rising World in the past, but I stopped playing. I have recently been curious how far the 'New Version' has progressed.

I wonder if there are any methods to achieve what I am looking for. Perhaps, a plugin request could be made?

    My goal:

I want to manage a server. I want to have a world, with towns. I want to have plots where players are able to claim the plots and do whatever they like with their plot. I don't want players to claim random areas across the map. I don't want players to build randomly across the map, too. I envision the world map as a 'nation' or 'county'. I envision different towns, with different economies. Players join a town, choose a profession. They may want to work for themselves, or work for someone else. I imagine NPCs handing out quests, or providing trade. I want economy, fun, professions, creativity, adventure.

    Minecraft, with Towny plugin:

In the past, I played Minecraft with the Towny plugin. The plugin allowed players to create new, or join existing, towns. Those managing towns could create plots and plot types. Players could claim plots and pay taxes. They had to earn money in order to pay their plot taxes. It is difficult to keep Minecraft servers both fun and engaging though. The too blocky nature of the game did also put me off it. I'd highly suggest watching YouTube videos about Towny plugin to better understand it.

    Hello community,

I absolutely love Rising World, which isn't so 'blocky', but understand it currently somewhat lacks.

I'm a former Minecraft player who has played with Forge Mods and Spigot/Bukkit plugins. Minecraft, which has been around a very long time, has many different mods and plugins to choose from.

Personally, I really liked the Mekanism mod, it would be a dream to see such machines in Rising World.

If you were to create a Rising World private dedicated server tomorrow, what plugins would you load onto it?

Is there any specific plugins you would love mod makers to create?

    What plugins?

There was a Minecraft plugin called Towny which pretty much allowed you to manage a town. You could assign plots and plot types, create plot permissions, etc. Plots could be for sale with cash.

Do you think such plugin could work for Rising World?

I like the idea of establishing a town, creating plot types, assigning plots or putting plots for sale.

I understand Rising World is still new, but I like the idea of people having different roles/occupations. People seem like hermits.

I'm experiencing the same issue [here] , as well as "droidsb" [here]. I cannot confirm or deny, but I think it is because Admin is using both default permissions, as well as Admin permissions too. I think both permission files say PvE as True, and cancels out. It's only Admins which have this problem. 🤔

What list do you need exactly and for which version of the game?

I play with the New Version now on a privately-owned server. I came across this on Steam - "Rising World - Console Commands" - but some parts seem too vague. The command "spawnnpc <npcname>" is vague in the sense I don't know the options, and one YouTuber knew how to change an NPCs clothes, etc.

I was curious about Admin console commands as one post had area protection and I was wondering if that is built-in or requires a plugin to work.

Hello, I have a Rising World (New Version Unity) server running through Pterodactyl. I can join via IP address, but the server isn't displayed on the multiplayer list. It has previously shown though. I've checked the server.properties file without any success.

Another issue, which another forum thread has mentioned, is an issue with Admins and PvE. Admins can't PvE (player vs. entity), meaning Admins cannot attack animals. I checked the server.properties file for this also and the only reasonable solution was to remove myself as a Admin, which was annoying.

I'm happy to see a - WorldProtection - plugin exists. I've given it a little test and by default, the entire wilderness disallowed mining. I was wondering more about this, as I couldn't find a configuration file for this plugin. I want players to have the ability to explore and mine, but then claim specific areas for themselves. There isn't a WiKi or much details about the plugin, I don't think any YouTube tutorials exist either. I would love to start using this plugin though, if I knew what I'm doing.

I wasn't sure if a built-in area protection already exists, since I came across some area commands somewhere...

A final issue is commands. I cannot find a decent command list. I've been bringing about the command console and going from A to Z to see what console commands exist, but this only shows so much. I don't know what ever command does, how to use it, etc.

    The Unity-Version.

The Java version will probably be replaced by the Unity-version next week. This is the latest version of the game. The Java-Version will then no longer be shown on the store page and such questions will be unnecessary in the future. ^^

Plugins can be found under 'plugins new version'.

Thanks! If we're allowed to post eggs, I found a page for a Pterodactyl® game egg (egg-rising-world-unity.json), if that works for the Unity version.

Do you have any plugins/mod suggestions? A quick browse revealed a WorldGuard like plugin, reminding me of Minecraft.

Hello, I have been enjoying playing around with Rising World. I have used the 'Dedicated Server', along with 'Rising World' on Steam. I would assume this uses the 'Java version', but I am unsure of the versions and their differences.

I want to eventually create a server on Pterodactyl panel and needed the community's advice/suggestions.

Firstly... what version do you go with? Java or new version? What server? Do I just copy the 'dedicated server' files from Steam?

Also, MODs... is there any essential or improvement MODs you suggest? I want players to join a town, construct homes/shops/workplaces, have fun.
