The next update will be available on Wednesday, December 18, in the early evening (GMT+1).
This update will not yet replace the Java version, instead it is the actual content update. We'll provide more information about the transition together with the update.

i think we should be able to jump a little higher maybe 2 blocks high or 3? as taking a basic aspect of real life if you cant jump one block something must be wrong with you

Go to the router itself in your house, there should be a label/sticker on it, write down the name and the model number, then tell me what it is.
To port-forward you have to log-in to your routers control panel, which again, depends on which router you have.

Awesome, that's fairly simple to get going.
When you start a singleplayer world, it actually creates it as a server too, but people can only join if they know your IP.
Go here to get your IP: http://www.whatsmyip.org/
Now you will need to port-forward on your router (the way you do this varies on which router you use) the ports to forward:
4255-4259 on both UDP and TCP.
If you can find out which router you have, I can give more specific instructions for port-forwarding.
Now just give your friend your IP and they can connect.

that's just the basics.You may just want to join someone elses game if your not comfortable or do not understand those instructions.
unlike you im probs 1 of how many australians here? im not playing on high ping servers where people just grief and kill.. i wanna play with a friend on a private server.

what kind of Apples MAC do we talk here? IMAC? MacBook?
please be aware, an IMAC has only an ATI RADEON HD 6770 M with 512 MB, it will be very normal to have mostly FPS around 15-23.
Thats the facts of mine.
i dont know what mac it is.. but her mac can play neverwinter smooth as hell, and that game is......HUGE MMO and this is just.. TINY and still runs like crap

im using windows 7 im fine my friend has mac and she got it working and its just runs slow like takes ages to turn the person type of slow -

Es tut uns leid, dass du das Spiel im Moment nicht starten kannst. Bitte schaue einmal in dem Spieleordner auf dem Windows rechner ob eine info datei in dem Verzeichniss ist und wenn deren inhalt. Sind dort irgendwelche andere Fehler dateien oder Error Logs? Desweiteren einmal die Konsole öffnen indem du Start drückst und dann cmd eingibst. Dort gibst du dann java -version ein und postet all das hier herein.

I just deleted the server folder and re-extracted it. Copied my properties file back in, and it runs fine now. Something must have gotten corrupted some how.

just talking about blocks... will blocks be harder to make later on once there is ores and stuff? like those metal blocks need iron and stone to make them or something as an example or just more stone to make a block not just one stone for each block

some reason F12 doesnt work for me.. i changed my steam button to something else and when i press F12 still nothing comes up.. and how come the beds wont set spawn? cause beds are kinda pointless then
