I would do that if changing textures on planks was posible. Otherwise I would do everything on wood
You can change the textures to any texture the blocks have, this is done with the command console item woodplank 64 80 <---- this command = 64 x woodplanks with the texture id of 80. you need to do this in single player or be a admin on a server. most admins will do this for you or make some sort of deal with you to spawn this
Display MoreBefore all those 3D model implementations, I would be glad just to see the block system changed:
- Be able to build a Block on top of a Half block, or combine two half blocks and still be able to put a full block on top of that;
- Be able to build round structures (well, round towers, etc.)
- Be able to combine two ramp blocks together (it's still a pain to build roofs)
- Be able to place a half block verticaly.
This simple 4 things could save a lot of disapointing builted strucutres.
Those roofing materials are great ideias too
try building with timber and not blocks most of what you asked can be done with beams and planks
Is there a rough estimate about the addition of corn and wheat(If they are planned)? It would be nice If wheat was on the paint tool as well,once its thick like grass.It would make our worlds more beautiful. Metal barrels too,Please?
i think Wheat is planned and maybe even corn but that wont happen for some time
@red51 Will there be a way to keep stats for a server that changed IP ?
A few servers changed their IP over the course of their lifetime and lost their stats after doing so on the other stats website.
Will the official stats page have a way to keep track of this maybe with a unique server ID or main admin instead of IP adres being the identifier. Or might that complicate things ?
Taking to red you have a server_key file, it sounds like if you change ip or even move your whole server then all you do is copy this key over to keep your old stats, the file contains a UUID which is unique for every server.
been that this game is not finished and that anyone can start a server i don't think charging to play on a server is such a good idea, maybe once its finished and you can build beyond 17k from spawn then maybe you could look at something like this. but for that you would need a dam good connection and server and be prepared to spend countless hours solving problems.

sorry im late but did you set your folder permissions to wright oO there is a database file that needs to be written too so if folders are not set you will get errors

you need to frist copy protection2.0 folder and files too script folder then restart your server
after it runs type in the chat /selectarea

for teleportation doorways they are using my portal scrip you can download it from the lua area on the forum just look for portals,
a white list is a very good way of keeping your server under control, but there is also a option to run the protection script, i also have updated one that lets users add there own friends to an area, a admin is still needed to first make a selected area for a Owner then that Owner can add his friends to his own area or the other option is to make a massive area like 10k by 10k going all the way down and all the way up then just add trusted friends to that one area you could add them as friend or a Owner Owners can then add other friends to that same area. you can view whos been added by typing in chat /showareainfo this will bring up a list of whos been added these scripts go into there own folder inside the script folder, a restart of the server will run them, this is not a cheat or hack they are just added options so wont change any game files.
i just do /we clear abs then use the terrain tool to add water but im going to test the we water soon.
i have updated the world edit script to include /we fill water and /we fill saltwater you can download this from my post in the lua area no need to edit and change anything oO

I can't open the server file... I've re-installing Java, opening it with C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_91\bin\Java, \Javaw, \Javaws\ \Javacpl... It won't open at all. Not even a busy curser icon... The most that happens is on Javaws, I think it is, CMD will pop up for a second then turn off.
What's that about? Any help?
what os are you running and did this work before ? do you have any server logs for us also
Chris i have a advanced money system maybe you could take a look at it, users earn money by building and that money can buy stuff in chests in shop areas as you take stuff out of a chest it takes your money, but the idea was if you put items into a chest you earn money like selling and buying of cause the more item type in a shop the cheaper it becomes and also you earn less when selling that item, also the idea was that there are ATM's where you manage your cash, ever player is also taxed that tax is used for lotto system and other things set by the admins lol if your interested let me know
