Ok guys we have had portals on our server for some time so its been tested and i have now Cleaned it up for you guys to use
Portal help
Use /portalhelp
Use /selectportal to select the area that will function as a portal
Use /createportal [destinationPortalID or -1] [portalName] to create the portal, if the portal is a destination portal then use \"-1\" as ID
Use /listportals to see a list of portals to get the right id for the detination portal
Use /showportals to visualize the portals
Use /hideportals to hide the visualized portals
Use /removeportal [id] to remove the portal
Frist you need to make your destination portal this is done with using the -1 as the idexample 1 make a destination
/selectportal then make a box area no smaller than 2x3x3 then enter ( /createportal -1 Homebase exit ) Homebase exit, can be changed to any name you wish.example 2 make a portal to a destination
/selectportal then make a box area no smaller than 2x3x3 then enter ( /createportal 1 Homebase enter ) 1 = Homebase exit id because this was the first portal made to see all ids of portals type /listportals -

Grapes are definitely needed. But, as an Italian, I mostly miss olive trees and olive oil! How can you survive without olive oil?

For some reason I'm craving the likes of having corn in Rising World. I guess I see a lot of it at my workplace, yet wanting to grow corn, eat corn, even have a corn-on-the-cob on a BBQ type thing. That, and to have pop some old-fashioned popcorn in a tin above a campfire, or something. It's summer season. I guess I'm asking for too much. Oh, how I'd love to have corn in my game. Water & corn, interesting mix :P.
I have this thought of lining the coastline with corn, or similar. Going to blame Cherries also for making me think of corn. Love the cherry tree marking my spawn. Need to find more wild ones.
corn sounds like a nice idea would love grapes too would love to see grapevines cover the hills then make wine and food with them

I read elsewhere that there is a 20% chance of getting a lake in a given biome. I hoped it would be higher so i guess i will be looking further

I think the problem is that he has not given any updates at all for non steam players, so I will wait a bit then try again.
Right now I have a version 06(52)(my previous client) and a version 06(0) (redownloaded from downloads page) but nothing that says alpha 0.7.
I have windows, non steam, no old worlds or saves. Apparently steam version has been out for four or five hours but nothing for those of us using the inhouse (nonsteam) client. I would be willing to switch over to Steam version if he is phasing out support for non steam users, and wants to give us a steamkey instead, since this comes up after most updates.
This is just for JIW for troubleshooting purposes, it is not a complaint, I just do not know whether this is supposed to be working or not.
Yes it seems its at 0.6, i would say there is just a time delay between when they release the updates, this has taken longer most likey because bugs have been found that are getting fixed, no point in updating the download files till the bugs are fixed.

its Alpha 0.7 with the water and http://www.rising-world.net/en/page/downloads.html just redirects me to the main page and i dont see any other "Download" link on the website and i am logged in
Just tested and it works fine, look to the top of the main home page to see if it still says logged in, if not login then click the download link.
