Very simple suggestion.
The wooden triangles are currently isosceles triangles. I'd like an option for them to be right triangles.
You would just have to cut the current triangle in half:
Others have suggested this, but only as part of longer posts, so I'm making this shorter one.
Did you try in console: s 4 2 0.05 ? may be the result is what you need if I understood well 
(0.05 is the thickness by default you can use the one you need)

While waiting for this feature, I've been using a spreadsheet to generate it (since a right triangle can be made with 2 isosceles).
Enter the dimensions in inches and it will output the correct size command for the 2 isosceles you need. Then just arrange them as needed.
I didn't understand quite understand this matter. At the beginning you said you want a right triangle, i.e. means a triangle with a right angle or right triangle.
The size command suggested be Heily results in a right-angled triangle. you can also adjust the whole thing manually with the triangle in hand, but the size command is clearly faster
For which type of construction do you want to put 2 triangles together into a right-angled triangle?
