Can I actually make this??

I hope this falls under the correct category!

Anyway, I’ve been thinking on how to make custom building construction blocks for Rising World, to enhance my modern builds!

For example, I want to make a glass triangle and frame to make triangle windows.
Now, I am not familiar with Java, but that doesn’t mean that I can’t learn!

If there is not a simple answer to this question, perhaps a video tutorial would suffice(if indeed one exists)?

If its simply not possible without changing “core code”(I forgot the correct term, but I’m sure you know what I mean), then I will suggest to the head developer, Red51, to perhaps, consider implementing triangle windows in Rising World within the future!

in my opinion no need to use code: just 2ways,1 if your build is made with blocks, use the triangle block shape (as many as you need), 2 if your build is made with beams, with a beam in hand just rotate (with the default rotation -15-) 3 times for each and you will have your triangle, about a less larger beam (to do the frame at the right size, adjust it with the same rotation on each
about the glass pane you would have to use a square, placed it and the squarish parts will be hide in the wall that is the only way I know

I agree with @Helie, I don't think you can make triangles with glass.

The command to make triangles is item woodplanktriangle x y where x is the quantity and y is the texture ID. As far as I am aware glass does not have a texture ID?

Even the plugin pnb is a simple UI to issue these commands.

Maybe if you add triangular glass in the suggestions forum you'll get what you wish for?

(Sounds like a good idea to me! Make the glass colourable and you could make some epic stained glass...)
