I have been looking around the posts on the forum. and looked what other people have done to fix the game crashing.
well eventually it does not work for me all i have tried. please help me. i really wanna try this game out

Do you use the Steam version or Standalone?
Please have a look if there is a file called "errorlog" or "hs_err_pid" in your game directory (Steamversion: Steam/SteamApps/common/RisingWorld). -

Thanks for the files! A rendering error causes the game to crash. What CPU and what graphics card do you have?

Please assign the Nvidia card manually to the game (can be done in the Nvidia control center). Assign it to the "risingworldx64.exe" (Steam\SteamApps\common\RisingWorld\risingworldx64.exe) as well as to the "java.exe" (Steam\SteamApps\common\RisingWorld\java\x64\bin\java.exe) and see if it works then

i have just been looking around in the folders within the game. and i can not find the file. this is so wierd

Both should be there in place. The "risingworldx64.exe" is in the game directory itself (where you also found the hs_err_pid files). Apart from that, there should also be a folder called "java"

Now it works? Does the game use the right graphics card now or not?

he's getting the meassage you added to the main menu saying to asign *** graphics card.

If you have assigned the game both to the risingworld.exe and java.exe, and it does not work yet, please try to globally specify your Nvidia card as your primary graphics adapter (instead of assigning it to single programs). If it still does not work, you may try to update your graphics driver.
