Noticed something kind of strange today
When I've placed a lamp on the ceiling with grid mode ON, it placed inside of it, while without grid mode, it's placed on the surface, see screens
Is it a predicted behavior?

Surely someone else has seen this? I haven't built enough to notice this type of stuff.
its because the grid is locked to a certain place, sometimes you can fix it by changing the grid size or pressing control to lock the object in place and than moving it down one grid incriment
@JokerAMC It doesn't fix it in this case

ya sometimes it just does not work because technically the black part of the lamp is gonna be in exactly the same place as the board because they are both snapping to the same place. but are you sure that your grid is at the smallest size because if it is than locking the object in place and moving it down one grid incriment should bring it out where you want it i think, im not positive but i thought that one of the smallest grid incriments was about the same as a planks thickness
