I am playing in Survival mode and when I cut down a tree and cut it into logs, the logs immediate disappear - nothing around to block it. This also happens with smaller trees when attempting to collect sticks - they just disappear. This just started happening in the past day or two. This is happening to all three Steam account games we are playing in the household (three separate computers of various configurations).

Have you checked the despawn time in the game settings? It's adjustable and could be set to 0.
