  • ERROR: 107 ITEMDEFINITION IS NULL

It's normal output during conversion: We removed some items, so the game does not find the itemdefinition anymore, so they're deleted from all chests and inventories. I must admit, it's really a misleading message, but really no need to worry. It only occurs when loading an old world for the first time now.
If there is something not working correctly, it has another reason. According to the log, everything seems to be fine?

same on my server, update does not work

What's not working exactly? Do you eventually have a log?

  • Hi there, I'm new to this forum but first of all I would like to thank you for this awesome game and support!
This game has tons of potential and allows for hours and hours of cool gameplay. Thank you!

Now that I've gotten that out of my system I would like to share my (error) log that comes with the update.
Whenever I want to start the new update (0.5.7) with my old map I get an error and it shuts down automatically.

However, if I start the new version (0.5.7) without my old world, everything seems to be working fine.
I hope this helps in solving problems.

    Thank you.

  • @Natox: Thanks for your nice words! :) The issue you're having occurs when you try to convert an old map where no "customImages" folder is present (i.e. when you never worked with images before on that map). We will fix it today in a bugfix, but as a workaround, you could create a folder "customImages" in your world folder ("Worlds/[yourworldname]").

Thanks for the fast response Red51, I appreciate that. Will look forward to the bug fixes and upcoming content. Keep up the awesome job!

  • nein habe ich nicht abgebrochen, das kam gleich beim ersten mal.

    habe die DB runtergefahren
    db gesichert
    update eingespielt
    db wieder gestartet
    server gestartet

  • ok but when restart the server error are again present in the new log and normal ??

It was indeed a problem, the conversion for 0.5.7 did not work properly. An update is now available, on the initial start, you should see this messages again, but then no more ;)

  • Hi,
i restored my DB and install the new bits, but still problems with the server start

  • @VUVossi: There is a problem with custom images. Where do you have your backup from? Is it your own backup, or from the .backup folder? In the latter case, you need to know that custom images are always excluded from backups (due to file size reasons^^). So the error occurs on startup? Is there any image twice in your custom images folder?
