output text to chat

    i do not seem to understand how to send text to player once logged in without using commands. sorry but i am new at lua and game api. thank you very much

    In multiplayer, you can press "t" (this can be changed in the settings) to open the chat. Just type a message there and hit the enter/return key, this will send a message to all players ;)

    what i was trying to do was output text from lua script into the single player chat which I figured out by looking at others lua scripts. Am i allowed to paste the code here for others to know?
