new update

    after new update can't start game anymore
    small window says "risingworldx64.exe is not working anymore "
    do i have to reinstall the game
    or do i have to wait for a fix
    i have steam version so it updates auto

    did a reinstall of the game still not working

    First you may want to clean your temp folders. Then go into your library, to your game, right click on it then properties. There should be a place to verify files,that may fix it. And just for the heck of it dump your temp java files, go into control panel, java on the general tab there is a place to dump the temp files. Maybe update java while you are at it?

    If there is no errorlog or hs_err_pid file: Please open the config.properties file with a texteditor and set "game_debug_console" to true, then start the game again. Once it's crashed, please have a look if there is a file in the "Logs" subfolder, open the latest one (just a longer number as name) and post the content here :)

    did also do windows update no result
    wonder if it is my computer or the game or maybe steam
    but other games work

    Maybe try this: Rightclick on RW in Steam -> properties -> Betas and select the "0.6.1_old_exe - Old 64 bit exe", close the dialog, wait until the download is ready and start the game then ;) Does it work then?

    but plays about 15fps slower :/
    but i understand there is a lot more to load ;)
    didn't start new world yes but will do that

    blockscape(lots of potential bad progress and no response) :cursing:
    lego worlds(just fun) :P
    and of course the best developer is rising world :D

    Thanks for your kind words and your understanding :) Eventually you can try this: Go to your config.properties and set "graphic_texture_quality" to 0, this may slightly increase the performance. There will be more performance optimizations with the next update, that may provide better fps ^^
    You can set game_debug_console to false again btw^^

    started a new world played a while used blueprint
    working just fine now fps between 70 and 140
    in old world it was +- 40-60
    and the grafics verry nice love the update
    but there is one thing i hate sorry but the grass is even wurse than before
    can see much less food even melon's are hard to see
    plz give us an option to put it out
    or to cut it faster

    We are working on a solution for that ;) The next update will increase visibility of saplings at least, shortly after the update there will be improvements to find small plants more easily.

    A mower and other electric tools are plannend in the long-term, but they won't make it into the game prior 2016 :/
