Hello Deirdre.I created a topic in discussions section about the maximum number of posters someone can use in the game.Do you know or heard anything about that?

I haven't heard about your thread. But you are able to adjust the quantity and dimension of the posters in the server properties, i.e. under permissions - customimages. I don't know if the real maximum is 1000 posters or more, sry.
