Help with Arches, circles using blocks

    Im missing something. I read about using woodbeams to create circles etc.
    I can make the "wheel" using beams as spokes, but in images and videos I see square blocks aligning to the beams. My blocks wont be placed like that, they keep being placed ontop of the beams in straight line, I dont get what key to press to make my square blocks rotate and align to the spokes of the beams.
    Any help?

    Are you using wooden blocks scaled on blocksize? The blocks can only be set on few places, depends on size of the woodbeams.
    You can try with the enter-key where they would align with your spokes. Or you need to set them manually. Maybe you can show an example?

    hmmm not made wooden blocks yet, I was trying with stone blocks, Im guessing thats where I did it wrong.

    How do you make wooden blocks? On the vidoes I see it done with marble, brick and metal blocks, they used the give item command and change the material ID?
