fatal exception since updating java

A small new update is available now!

    I updated java 2 days ago and since then cannot launch Rising World. Steam loads up but I get this error message.

    I'm on Windows 7 on AlienwareM14XR2, Intelcore i7, 12G RAM, 64bit with NVIDIA Geforce GT 650M


    I don't know much about computers so any help is welcome,

    Is this the full error message? It looks like there is a problem initializing the Steam API, does it help to restart Steam (make sure you don't run Steam in offline mode)? Or does it work when restarting the computer?
