re-download a fresh copy of the server files.
For the one from Steam and for mac: I have to download it on steam right?
If you bought the game on Steam, right-click the current one you have, click Delete Local Files, then re-download it from your Game Library. 
If you trying to start the standalone version: This does not work. Only people who purchased the game on our site are enabled to play the standalone version (they cannot play it in Steam), and Steam customers can only play the game in Steam (and not the standalone).
The server should never output something like that, it's not related to any account.
