Found texture mapping error

A new update is now available, introducing a lot of new content!
Latest hotfix: 0.7.5.2 (2024-09-10)
  • I worked on my textures an found a bug or known error, i connected a normal block to an half round one. The left image shows the texture applied in the correct way, on the the right image you can see how the texture is cut.
    After some research for my own i found out, that the round side of an half round block doesn't get applied one texture side, it one and a half.


    My second image shows the 1 and a half fact better:


    Wouldn't it make more sense to stretch the texture on halfround to 1 texturetile or to apply 2 texturetiles where the seam fits the mid?
    The total round block fits well in every aspect but this one is one grid cell not on 2.

  • Thanks for pointing that out! Using 1 texturetile made the texture look stretched, 2 texturetiles made it look compressed. But we will have a look at this issue again, indeed, the transistion is really not perfect :)
