Will we be able to refill holes we've dug?

Unfortunately the forums, server list and report tool were offline last night due to technical issues. Sorry for the inconvenience! It should be working again.
However, unfortunately the Standalone update is temporarily not available. We expect it to be fixed in a couple of hours. Please let me know if you want to get a Steam key instead!

    Is it planned to be able to refill/plug/cover holes we've dug?
    Example: You accidentally break through to the surface while digging a secret base. You could cover the hole with a plank or block, but that might be too obvious.
    Instead, while holding dirt/stone hold right click to replace the material against a natural surface? Adding a small bump to the wall?


    This is probably way more complicated than I think... just a thought! :)

    You can place dirt and stone in the world. you may need to use the rake or sledge hammer to smooth it out, but you can place.
    Each placement takes a separate right click there is no continual place like you are suggesting.


    The only that cannot be undone currently is regrow grass. That and many other features are coming in the future.
