MAC runs slow

Ok so my friend has a mac and some reason its DEAD slow, just wondering if you have a mac and yours runs fine can you please help out!

The game should not run slower on Mac than on Linux or Windows. If it runs slow, it is most likely related to your hardware. What CPU and graphics card do you have?
