map shows paths in dirt but no roads built

I see buildings and structures but I built a road up a hill so used wood and it does not show on the map. All the dirt paths I raked do show .. is this just another feature we have to wait for updates

Currently the map only shows the state of the world when the according world part was explored (while having a map equipped) for the first time

Well that is weird now i have to keep re-exploring everything. X/
